Probate Court

Beginning April 1, 2021, the North and South Annex offices will convert to probate express offices, offering marriage & weapons carry licenses only. All remaining civil filings will be accepted and date-stamped (not filed) and forwarded to our downtown central office for processing.

New in 2021! Due to COVID-19, Probate Court annex locations will no longer accept cash for license fees. Please note that the $5 cash payment is still required for fingerprinting fees through the Fulton County police department’s on-site fingerprinting service. Cash is the only payment accepted for fingerprinting fees.

Credit, debit & prepaid cards are accepted at all locations. American Express is not accepted at any location. Cash will only be accepted at the downtown/central locations.

WEAPONS CARRY LICENSE FEE INCREASE: Effective August 2, 2020 the cost of a weapons carry license will be $75.00, the cost of a renewal license will be $32.00 and the cost for a replacement license will be $8.00. These fees include the cost of mailing the license to the address appearing on the license.

REMINDER: Face masks are required for entry into the Fulton County Courthouse.
