Request a Proclamation

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners frequently present community groups, occasions, and individuals with proclamations to acknowledge accomplishments, achievements, and milestones of note in Fulton County. National acknowledgements, events, or occasions are observed if there is a local organization or governmental entity that is serving as a partner. For requests for a proclamation or ceremonial letter, please contact a member of the Board of Commissioners to request their sponsorship.

We recommend that requests be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the date you need the final document

 

When requesting a proclamation please provide:

  • The occasion for which you are requesting the proclamation or letter (including location and date of an event)
  • Specific details about what makes your event, organization, etc. special or worthy of recognition
  • If the proclamation is honoring an individual, please provide multiple pieces of information that relate to the honor and illuminate why the recipient was chosen
  • Contact information of the requestor to allow Fulton County to reach someone regarding any content questions
  • Or complete the proclamation request form below and email.
